Quihnn

​

     Quihnn is the only male from our Wing Litter (Manny x Sierra).  He stood out as a baby puppy and has matured into a beautiful biddable sound athletic working Golden.  Quihnn's dam Sierra was one of the most biddable Golden's I have ever had the pleasure of training with and she was a very strong hunter and water dog earning her CKC Grand Master Title and HRCH.  His sire Manny was a Dual Dog Hall of Fame with the GRCA completing both is American Show Championship, AKC Master Hunter, Qualifying placement and GRCA Outstanding Sire.  

     Quihnn lives with his owner Diane Burrows in Port Alberni BC.  In the field Quihnn has been trained to the Master level and earned his CKC Senior Hunter title going 4 for 4.  They have a very busy household and only were able to train on a limited basis.  Diane also competed with Quihnn in tracking earning a TD and UTDX title (the equivalent to VST in the US).   Quihnn has proven to be an exceptional working dog with focus, good play and prey drive, fast bird pick up and strong water courage.  He has a nice balance between drive, birdiness and biddability with an exceptional temperament.  He lives with other males, plays well with all dogs/ puppies, loves kids and has a wonderful off switch in the house.

Comformationally, Quihnn earned his Can Show Championship.  He matured into a beautiful nicely balanced boy. He stands 23 1/2 at the withers, well muscled and weighs 73lbs. He has a lovely soft expression with very dark eyes, dark pigment, good ear set and correct scissors bite with full dentition.  His front is powerful with good depth of chest, rib spring, nice upper arm and shoulder layback.  His rear is strong with good angles, tail set & carriage.

Quihnn has produced 2 litters, one is the Ring Litter (Quihnn x Kikki) and they tested out to be high drive, birdy pups and have excelled in hunting and performance.  Quihnn just gets better and better with age and has a pedigree that is a wonderful blend of performance and show.
